Arlen Specter challenges the President as a "decider"

I decided to take a brief jaunt around the internet to see how some of the local online news sources were covering the news of Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter and his statement:

"I would suggest respectfully to the president that he is not the sole decider"

CNN listed that sentence in full.

Fox News that supposedly conservative icon, covers the story almost exactly as CNN using the same Associated Press piece.

Over at the Washington Post they also used the same Associated Press piece.

The New York Times, doesn't even appear to think this newsworthy, however they did decide to run with the article on the end of the google bomb for "miserable failure".

MSNBC does the worst job with the AP piece not even including Specter's statement in the initial part of the article.

Really what this seems to come down to is not really "is the media liberal" since they all seem to use the same exact AP sources over and over again but which one will list it complete and which one will snip it. It really proves the point that it doesn't matter for most stories the different sources you try to locate if they are all using the one AP source...
