Pretty Vegas....

Yes, that is the title of a song that I happen to like that was done by J.D. Fortune during the Rock Star: INXS competition. I've thought about going to Las Vegas on more than one occassion. Years ago when I was a bit more of a rebellious sort and a teenager, I came close to making it to Las Vegas, making it as far as Richfield, Utah before circumstances beyond my control made my return to Toledo happen. My father loved Las Vegas and had frequently spoken about the two of us taking a weekend trip there once my children got a little older. He would describe the shows, the casinos, places he loved to eat and even talk about some of the Las Vegas new homes he saw that he would love to own one day. That dream was of course not meant to happen since he passed away before we were ever able to make that jaunt to Las Vegas. Yet that hasn't stopped my thinking about it from time to time and even visiting websites to see what type of travel deals are out there.

I've also had several friends some real life and some internet friends who have gone to Las Vegas and gotten married. I wasn't able to attend any of these ceremonies but a few had ceremonies that you could actually log in to watch on the net so I was able to feel as if I was a part of that moment. Yes, I admit I still cried even when watching a wedding thru the wonders of the net. A blogger I've mentioned before, Julie won an all expense paid wedding in Las Vegas thanks to PayPerPost. Where it looks like a fantastic time was had by all. Perhaps one day I will make it out to Las Vegas perhaps if I do enough of these paid posts for PayPerPost, even sooner than expected, until then, I'll keep humming Pretty Vegas...
