Photo Hunt - Annoying

This was a hard one for me to decide, I ended up picking the below picture because despite as bad as it looks, it ended up just being annoying. Two winters ago, my oldest daughter was driving down a snowy icy road and a deer ran in front of her car, she swerved to miss the deer, the car spun out of control and ended up against a tree. My daughter ended up fine, the deer ended up fine and the only damage was the car and her cell phone. All in all? Just annoying since cars can be replaced, children can't.

Thank God it wasn't your daughter!!! That looks like it could have been so much worse.

That was my thought exactly, she's lucky to have not had a scratch. It's commonly said around here that my father is working overtime in heaven looking out for my bunch.

What a positive way to think and you are so right - someone was certainly lookin' after her!

Yes, the car can be fixed or replaced but the child can't. Annoying or inconvenience but not life shattering. Glad your daughter was OK.

I can definitely see how that would be annoying. Glad to hear everybody came out of it ok.

Mine is up too.

What a nice way of seeing a silver lining. I'm glad to hear that your daughter didn't get hurt. It's also nice to know that the deer also came out alright.

Mine is up too.

Since everyone was fine, I can see where the damage would just come under the category of "annoying."
We have lots of deer off our roads here too and that's my biggest fear...hitting one of them.

Annoying?! That's downright scary!! I'm so glad your daughter is okay!

We have so many deer running around here it's not even funny. We live on the outskirts of town and they have just recently posted deer crossing signs. People haven't been taking them seriously and SHOULD. They're everywhere.

Enjoy the weekend

Thank goodness your daughter was fine. Yes, cars can be replaced but it's so inconvenient to do so!

Well, at least your oldest daughter is still your oldest daughter, it could have been much worse.

Count this among your blessings ;-)
