Things you probably didn't know about November 7th

I read this over at CNN and thought it would be interesting to share. Read the whole link for more but here's a part of the article:

Are you ready for some football?

Gubernatorial Republican candidate Lynn Swann in Pennsylvania is the former star wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Democratic candidate Heath Shuler, running for North Carolina's 11th District, is a former NFL quarterback who played for the Washington Redskins, New Orleans Saints and Oakland Raiders.

Nebraska's Republican Rep. Tom Osborne, who lost his state's GOP gubernatorial primary this year, is the former head coach of the University of Nebraska football team and a former NFL player with the Washington Redskins and the San Francisco 49ers.

Wisconsin Secretary of State candidate Sandy Sullivan, a Republican, wrote a tell-all book in 2004 titled "Green Bay Love Stories and Other Affairs" detailing her sexual exploits with members of the 1960s-era Green Bay Packers.

And if you are really into politcs...a Trivia site that might interest you.

Now I'm even more glad that I didn't vote for Sandy Sullivan.

I can't stand Tom Osborne. I married into a family of Nebraska fans who think he is a god. I used to like him before the year when the team had all the legal issues and he seemed to cover up some things and ignore others.
