Noe sentenced to 18 years in prison in Lucas County

For those of you who have followed this case from what I've written here and don't normally visit my local blog, today Tom Noe was sentenced.

The Defense had asked for 10 years, the Prosecution asked for 20. I was surprised he was sentenced to 18 what I thought was kind of unfair was the Judge said part of the reason he gave the sentence he did was because Noe showed no remorse. Noe was advised by his legal team to not make any statement at all. While it's probably related to not wanting Noe to have made anything on the record to appeal, I have to wonder how well his legal representation served him given they basically presented no defense and created a situation where it was felt by the Judge that Noe had no remorse.

And here I was looking for Osowick to make this sentence concurrent with the last one.

I sure hope Tom thinks that it was worth it.

And, I still think that he is quietly taking the fall to protect others, perhaps including Bernie. . .
