Something we have never done though is take a Cruise. We've gone as far at times to visit websites, Warm Island makes searching for information easy. They list all of the major cruise lines as well as give helpful hints and tips for those who are planning a cruise. Many other Carribean locations are featured, including Puerto Rico which will be in all likelihood the next place we do visit since Miguel's father and a good number of his family still lives in Puerto Rico. I even learned something about Puerto Rico that I didn't know from one of the articles:
An extremely interesting fact about Puerto Rico is that it is close to the deepest submarine depression in the North Atlantic Ocean – called The Puerto Rico Trench. The deepest point in the Atlantic Ocean, the Milwaukee Depth, lies within the Puerto Rico Trench. It reaches a depth of 27,493 feet (8,380 meters) in the western end of the trench, about 100 miles (160 km) northwest of Puerto Rico.
Another interesting feature of Warm Island is their forums where you can join and share your tropical vacation experiences or ask questions from other forum members who have been there as well as read important information posted about issues such as passport regulations. Is there an island in your future? I know after viewing the picture below, I'm hoping there is one in ours...

I want to go on a cruise to Alaska or Ireland. Although I would take a cruise to the Bahamas if I couldn't get my dream vacations
An Alaskan cruise would be awesome too, I was in Alaska once with my dad years ago but only for a few hours. I'd like to do more than just see it from an airplane window and the airport.
I'd also love to go to the middle east, I'd love to go to Israel and Palestine, I'd love to see the Pyramids...Unfortunately I haven't figured out a way to do all of this without one important aspect of these dreams...Money.
:-)
I am missing that same component. We can coauthor a book on some hot topic and do a world tour to promote it.
I also want to get to the Middle East and Africa. I have always been fond of Botswana because I had a teacher that worked in the Peace Corps there and we always saw pictures or video when she got it send to her by the villagers where she was. They also made some good apple leather which was awesome. It was a fruit rollup of sorts
Okay - I love fruit leather so we should add that to our list of places to go.
:-)
Check out coulterjohnson.com for some tips on Puerto Rico.
Still on my retirement list ;-)
