Consumers need to be informed when it comes to mortgages or refinancing

It's hard to navigate the barrage of advertising when it comes to looking for a mortgage or deciding when or even if you should refinance your home. In today's world of "instant online approvals" and "hurry offer for a limited time", it's even more important that consumers take the time to research not only what's available but what their rights are. In addition to providing information on mortgages, the website for Personal Home Loan Mortgates provides consumer information such "Mortgage 101" as well as a forum for you to discuss your experiences in mortgages or home refinancing. They offer a great deal of other services so if purchasing a home or refinancing a home is something you are considering, it's a great place to visit and/or bookmark.

Amen to that!

And when consolidating, you should be aware that the bologna and rye bread that you charged at the store last week will probably cost you 3-5 times the price charged, when lumped into a 30-year refi.

If only the bologna lasted and tasted as good as it had/will cost ;-)
