Bloggers and the Courts...

Miguel sent me the link to this article earlier, entitled "Courts are asked to crack down on bloggers, websites". I hadn't seen it, I don't normally read USA Today.

It's long but? Very interesting....

I wonder who I have defamed and if they even know I did it?

They certainly do and I represent almost half of them ;-)

The rest still have some sense about themselves.

As for those that I've defamed... Hoo Boy :-(

I'd better ask for a raise in my allowance ;-)

I may have to start a preemptive defense fund. I have called several people wankers and quite a few worse than that. I think I have even accused people of being un-American, un-patriotic, liars, and hypocrites who wouldn't know the teachings of Christ if he came and told them in person

The beauty of the Internet is that corrupt government officials and corporate wrongdoers can no longer assume their misdeeds will stay hidden.

Methinks some powers would like to see Net-muzzling.

Tom Paine would have been proud of the Internet.

(just a few slightly-connected thoughts on this post)

I'd have to agree with you Mike that there are quite a few that would like to see the blogosphere muzzled.
