The awesome powers of Bisquick....

I like to cook, but I also like to not make the same thing every night. Add to the normal challenge of having a vegetarian in the household. Bisquick however is very versatile. You can do everything from making pancakes to pizza crusts to dumplings to everything in between. Though my cheese/garlic biscuits are demanded often.

Tonight was Italian Flatbread...

I'd also point out for the non-vegetarians? Bisquick makes the best coating for making your own chicken nuggets, especially if you toss in just a bit of buffalo wing sauce.

Thus ends Lisa's "Betty Crocker" moment...

A Bisquick marketing rep just called me by mistake, Lisa.

I told him to send the ad revenue check to you.

:-}

But you are right - Bisquick is a terific starter and very versatile. I like it when used for chicken and dumplings.

I love dumplings, last time I made them it was with veggies and veggie broth to make the gravy. Surprisingly it was very good. Though I like it better with chicken, the rascally vegetarian wanted some too.

Product endorsements...hmmmm...could be interesting....hamster food even...
