The judge in the DeLay case was removed because he donated over $5,000 to Democratic candidates and organizations over the past five years. However, the judge who made the decision in DeLay's favor? Made $5,600 in contributions to Republican candidates since 1999.
Who will be the next judge? Can they find a judge in Texas who made no donations to political groups? Or will the administrative judge get the message that before he decides bias he might want to look at his own checkbook?
Tune in for the next episode of how DeLay gets delayed.....
:-)

That is so unfair. He was $600 more biased. I think they should move the trial to Iraq. They need the practice over there
I'm still figuring they need some Amish...
:-)
OT: Late breaking news, Libby has aked for a DeLay.
Or, maybe it was a delay...
:-)
I would plead temporary humanity and throw myself at the mercy of the court
hmmm wonder if DeLay will ask for a Scooter....
:-)
Only if he plans to scoot out of politics... :-)
Is that where you commit treason and call it politics as usual
Quite a game this tit-for-tat has turned into, huh? Is there a judge who has NO political affiliation, ideology, or leanings?
What? You mean to tell me that there might be politics involved in our American jurisprudence system?!...
Well, I never!!!!
This is what I find ironic: Tom DeLay's defense lawyer, Dick Deguerin, said to the crowd at a Kinky Friedman for Governor golf fundraiser, "I’m a Yellow Dog Democrat. I’m representing Tom DeLay, and I’m for Kinky. And I see no contradiction there."
