On a more serious note than below, I hope we all take a few moments today to remember some of the many things each of us has to be thankful for. To remember those who are homeless, even ones like Jeff who after tonight will return to his home. Thank you to all of those who in real life and the net give me many moments to be thankful for.
For those not in the US? Best wishes for a happy day for you and for those of us that celebrate Thanksgiving whether here in the States or overseas?
A very Happy Thanksgiving to you...

Happy Thanksgiving!
I, for one, am thankful for a relatively peaceful, happy home. I'm thankful for my husband and my children, and my mother, too; all of whom I will be sharing my Thanksgiving with. I'm also thankful for a chance to sleep in. :-)
I'd love to sleep in however, dinner will be early this year to meet the requirements of grown children with SO's who have to go to their families too.
But I am thankful for so many things and people that? I'll live with getting up early to deal with the monster turkey.
:-)
:-) This is the first year in five that I've had that option, but luckily nobody is required to work this year, so we can all take it a little easier. Plus, a lot of the feast preparation is due solely to adult stubbornness. My kids won't eat much if any of the feast foods. They'll stick to their cold turkey hot dogs and goldfish crackers. Alas, maybe someday they'll eat a normal meal.
Thanks for your kind comment at TWC. May you have a blessed Thanksgiving Day.
Willy ate turkey! I'm ecstatic!
I am thankful that I only have to work as hard as I force myself to.
There is a real joy in slacking at least a few days a year!
Stephanie, that is awesome!
Mike, I'm glad you enjoyed a few days of slacking. I'm looking forward to mine today and tomorrow since thanks to leftovers? I will have an easy next few days.
:-)
A Happy, yet belated, Thanksgiving to all!
I posted but I slacked on my reading and am catching up today.
A special thank you to all who serve and to their families who will miss them dearly.
