The Bob Frantz Petition

Okay some of you are having a problem with the way the petition created by Conservatives of Toledo is worded. Personally? I signed it as is even though I as a liberal did not agree with all of it because I felt it was important to get as many signatures as possible.

However, just for those of you who feel you can't sign the first one? Here's a very easy simple one for you to sign. Now, either sign one or both but? Do something!

UPDATE:

So far? Day two? Brian Wilson is still not impressive...Today's the last day I'm doing this to myself. If it doesn't get better? I'm going back to listening to my songs on my pc. However he is attempting to get the anti-tax libertarian point thru by suggesting paying taxes that will actually help people or support things like the zoo is theft. Let's not forget Herman Cain who believes:

Liberals stop things from happening...yep that's why with a Republican Majority nothing is getting done. Cain is claiming he's non-partisan?

I might be the only person in Toledo who likes the new lineup, both Brian and Fred. If it means less hate on the radio, I'm all for it.

The way Bob regularly got bent out of shape about Fran Lawrence, Jack Ford, and any caller who questioned the war in Iraq, was not beneficial to me. Win your argument by debate, not calling a listener an idiot or moron. Hearing angry AM talk radio morning, noon, and night, will train your thoughts to work that way.

I think the new assignment, along with continued editorials in the Free Press, will force Bob to mature and improve. A focus on Toledo news will be good niche. We'll have to give it some time to see how it works out.

My only recomendation is that they move his time slot up to 5:00. 6 is Marketwatch on WGTE and I can't miss that...

I think for me it's a larger principal since I can't claim to be one of Bob's regular fans. It's how it was done and the fact that I promised someone that I care about very much that I would fight this since I have a slight more ability to bring attention to this than he can.

If the ratings were down that would be one thing but they weren't. Media in Toledo needs balance. Whether you agreed or disagreed with Bob, it was a viewpoint in Toledo that without him, especially now that Denny is gone will no longer be represented. So that's another reason I am involved in trying to push this.

To me this is also as a side point a chance to see if Toledoans who complain over and over again will actually do anything or just sit and bitch. I have to say I expected better from those who are the real Bob Frantz fans.

So far I'm not impressed with anything I've read about Brian Wilson nor after yesterday's show has that changed. I like Fred but this isn't about Fred.

Lisa,
Does it count if I sign a petition using my nom de keyboard, or will only my real name count?

I can send and receive email either way, for verification purposes.

I have a very real reason to remain "in character," so to speak...

On the dead Beach Boy's performance today:

Sorry that you suffered through it, I instead, went shopping for something intelligent to listen to, until I arrived home; then, click.

I trust you'll let me know when Bob has a real gig on WSPD again; one that is not during feeding/local TV news time.

What a cruel and inhumanely slow death sentence...

ht, if you don't feel comfortable using your real name I understand. You can sign it with your net name.
