After experiencing the blue I have now moved down to the pink, who knows when the purple will be in my future - lol.
As a word of advice for anyone who ends up on Synthroid, I've found it is one of the few drugs that the generic doesn't work as well. Infact I had major problems with the generic formulation of this drug which my pharmacist confirmed. While still a good value compared to some of the other drugs I have to take on a daily basis, In the years I have been on this drug even when the dosage hasn't changed? The price goes up every month, not alot, but what started out at only costing $2.73 a month is now $16.47.

Okay color me bad as far as drug "lingo" I didn't realize skittles were the term used for trying to get a buzz from coricidan cold medication.
After I posted this I read a cnn article about a girl who overdosed in Nebraska. Her dad found 58 bottles of cold medicine in her room after the over dose happened. Looks like she is going to make it.
I'm pretty sure I have eaten many pills with the same colors as your chart, Lisa.
Often simultaneously.
I remember a day before I became a responsible parent type person where I probably could have said the same thing Bob, cept for the pink, pink pills were not popular in the late 70's
:-)
It's every color of the rainbow. First you see them on the pills, next you see them everywhere and on everyone.
OOOOOooooohhhh!!! I feel fiiiinnneeee. Naptime. ;)
That increasing cost was likely due to the price increases foisted upon the innocent drug manufacturer by the EVIL medical grade pigment manufacturers.
Right...
(I especially liked the "innocent drug manufacturers part.
Unbelievable!
:-)
$180 for the synthroid? Wow, on the new dosage of 112 it was 16.47 for 30 of them. That was at my local grocery store pharmacy.
Faith, I just checked Walgreen's, using the highest dosage since I didn't know which one your mom is on of 300, for 100 of those it is only $98.99 - which would be over three months worth. So I would def check with your doctor. If you want to email me the exact doseage I'll do some checking for you.
