Who's your daddy to an extreme?

I'll be the first one to admit I do watch some of the reality shows and enjoy them. However in the never ending quest to do what hasn't been done....a new show planned thankfully not in this country but if it's a hit? Who knows...

AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands (Reuters) -- Billionaire television producer John de Mol, behind the pioneer show Big Brother, will test the limits of reality TV with a program in which a woman searches for a potential sperm donor to conceive a child.

His new TV station Talpa, launched earlier this month, confirmed it will air a program called "I want your child ... and nothing else!" but gave no further details about the show due at 1830 GMT on Wednesday.

"The plan is that we visit potential donors and -- of course on camera -- decide which man is most suitable," the 30-year old woman who will feature in the program said in an interview with De Telegraaf newspaper.

The whole concept of this show (and I use the term loosely, very loosely) fails to give me the "warm and fuzzies..." :-(

Reality TV a dodo bird in the making.

That smacks of FOX TV to the hilt. They will have a show just like that for the mid season fillers. Maybe next summer the lastest.

I still stay with Survivor and Amazing Race, because they are shown as enteraining game shows (very expensive game shows) and not the life changing BS that all the others reality shows try to pull.

HT maybe right that Reality TV may go bye bye in the next decade or so, but it has made the writers of scripted shows step up their game and that means better entertainment in the long run.

You know I agree with you on those two C, since we share them as favorites. I've been watching the rockstar one with Aubrey, it's been pretty good so far. And thank's to Me4's wife and Lilly, I am much more up to date on Big Brother.

:-)
