With a curtsey to Brew at Robot-Invasion, Public Advocate President EugeneDelgaudio will be announce on Wednesday morning, August 10, 2005 at 11:00 AM in front of the Supreme Court that Public Advocate of the United States, a Virginia based national pro-family group is withdrawing its support for Judge John Roberts' nomination to the Supreme Court.
Why?
The move comes as a result of Roberts' support for the radical homosexual lobby in the 1996 Supreme Court case Romer v. Evans, which overturned a pro-family law passed by the citizens of Colorado in an appalling act of judicial activism. (Their words not mine)
All I can say is? When is this going too end....

Agreed. This nomination should be a no-brainer, but there has been much more opposition than I thought there would be.
Makes me really fear what will happen if Bush appoints one that is really out there.
:-)
The insanity will never end. As long as there are stupid people who will believe in hearsay and not the facts or, in this case, the law.
I like this guy Roberts, becuase the extreme left and right don't like him. This tells me that he goes by the law and not by political influence. This guy may be one of the few right choices that Bush made. I can't recall the other two decisions.
