Muscle Cars make comeback.....

Interesting article at CNN linked above. While yes, the horsepower is more than my old 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner (Hint bring it back guys and not that wannabe version)

Makes me remember the days when I too listened to Ballroom Blitz....

Not mine but pretty darn nice....

Your THAT OLD??!?!? Just Kidding.

Funny that I read this just after I started putting all my Rush CDs (albums) on my iPod and to paa the time I listening to their first album. Just finished Before and After and now I'm listening to Working Man. Something out of that era. :)

Car lloks nice, but to me a car is a car. Then again I have been driving a '94 Ford Escort POS for the last eight years. So, what do I know? :)

lmao -- I have had my share of POS, infact most of my cars have probably met the POS qualification including the current sunbird I have.

My dad bought the roadrunner brand new, he special ordered it. I ended up with it in 1977. It was my first car. However mine was white with the wide black racing stripes.

But yeah I am that old...oldddd and grayyyyy

Loved "Ballroom Blitz" in 1974, but I first got hooked on Sweet with the song "Fox on the Run."

Great band; power pop with melody and glam.

Always loved those late 1960s/ early 1970s GMs myself, like the Malibu, Cutlass, and Chevelles. 8 cyliders of stripped-down badness.

Nowadays, my main concern is MPG. I bought a 1988 Honda Hoopty (actually a Civic DX) for $400 that gets 40 MPG on the highway. Great investment: rusty but trusty. I have put 15,000 miles on it so far, although it is waiting for me to put a new alternator in when I get $100 I can spare.

I've been spending so much time trying to find a cheaper place to live partly because of my POS, lol

Heater core went out so I just had it bypassed, fine for summer but when winter comes? I'm going to want heat.

I know Bob, I'll never forgive myself for selling my Roadrunner...
