In it he explains some of the basis he used to make decisions, including the one that was at the source of the now dropped NARAL ad.

The Washington Post will need to issue a correction. They stated that Fox News Channel was running the lying NARAL ad.
Fox News never agreed to run the NARAL ad. It was different local Fox (and not FNC) affiliates.
The Media Blog at NRO confirms it.
I posted that on your site earlier, the Post did correct it but New York Times has not.
Because of incorrect information from NARAL Pro-Choice America, an Aug. 9 article incorrectly said that a new television ad attacking Judge John G. Roberts Jr. would air on the Fox News Channel.
That is the correction from the Washington Post, infact I searched that out because I was going to tease you about not mentioning Fox in your post. Then....I discovered that NARAL had told the Post and other media sources it was going to run on Fox but it was not correct.
See....good thing I didn't tease you about it

That was a simple misunderstanding, however having just screwed up on the Mars thing, I wanted to make sure I was accurate before I asked you when you were gonna comment on fox

I'm wondering when the NYT is going to retract it though, and I'm wondering why it hasn't been a larger story that NARAL listed fox, foxnews didn't even mention it.
Besides, both you and Steve worked that out between yourselves as adults the way it's supposed to be.
I didn't do much in that because I knew you guys could handle it. Not everyone here has to agree and at times it's going to get heated, but in the end? We are proof that civil discourse does exist and all of us should be pretty damn proud of ourselves.

Well, Steve never responded to my apology/explanation, so I don't know if he accepted or not. I hope he does.
Had Fox News decided to run the ad, I would have held them in the same contempt that I hold CNN for doing so. I know that many liberals don't think highly of FNC, but I do, and running the NARAL ad would have diminished them in my eyes. Fortunately, it didn't happen.
Besides, I read where NARAL's communication director resigned...though they swear it had nothing to do with the ad fallout. Right...and I love the French!
