Fugitives caught...CNN gives us....

A picture of "the" room. Yes, because all of you wondered exactly what the room looked like that they were hiding in. Man what a bunch of messy fugitives from justice.

Of course I am happy they were caught, here in my own home state no less, but at times I shake my head at what the media provides us.

Now this shot, wow. Look how artfully it has been doctored to not show a product name, after all we wouldn't want it thought that Pepsi or Coke was the choice of fugitives everywhere. I'm surprised they didn't interview housekeeping to hear complaints about the condition the room was left in. The phone was off the hook? Yes, she was told to lay the phone down after police gave them the courtesy wake up call.

That's true kikyo some of them do go pretty far out there, CNN being online makes it easier to pick on them.

It's obvious when it's a slow news day locally. Like the amount of coverage given to the perogi with the supposed imprint of Jesus on it.

I heard the story on the local news here in the New York Tri state about the fugitives. I'm surprised that it didn't happen in my this area. It's more common place here. So commmon placed that the news doesn't ever go into the motel rooms of suspects. Boy, am I jealous.

I'm sure that once the trial starts there will be more entertainment for me in this. Jaded, of course, but I need my TV not to get boring.

I understand it being news, just thought the focus on the motel room pictures was a bit over the top even for CNN.

My favorite part was the cab driver who didn't believe their story about selling Amway. I guess they didn't make a strong enough sales pitch?! A two hour drive should have provided ample opportunity for any convention bound multilevel marketing duo to tempt even the strongest willed transportation professional.

Having tried years ago and discovered I didn't have what it takes to be Amway material I refrained from making that an issue as I knew I'd be biased. I agree though aaron that part did make me chuckle too. I barely escaped with my soul when I was hit by those amwayers...

Too bad they didn't answer df, you could have helped them, that 15% adds up - lol

me4 was going to join the hunt for them with his bible and take me as a sidekick so we could convert them and help them turn themselves in then collect the reward and book deals. Alas he didn't get here in time for us to make it to Columbus.

That was probably their next stop, after seeing the butter sculptures here on our local news, I'm sure they are unhappy they missed them.

This must be a faked photo - there are no crack pipes or dirty syringes.
