French fries cause cancer?

Well that's it for me, peanut butter, diet pop, apple juice, smoking, etc., yet now? California wants fast food makers to put a warning label on french fries.

Seems there is still some debate on which study to believe as to it and the Feds have not weighed in on the controversy....

I wonder though, if ketchup has lycopine which is supposed to fight cancer if you generously douse your fries with ketchup have you countered it? Hmmmm have to wait for that study that I'm sure someone at McDonald's or Burger King will sponsor.

While I know all about which behaviors increase the risk, at times I wonder....

Gee, a law to have a warning label on Fries and processed potato products. Only in CA. Say cancer and people go nuts. I see that they haven't seen a study that questions the findings of this study. It's just a ploy to get the fast food industry to go out of business. That will never happen.

You want people to stop eating at these places. Have all students take cooking classes and classes in our economic system. Once they learn that they can make tasty, healthy food that cost alot less that fast food, then weight problems will be a thing of the past and people will be healthier.

It's too late for me, so I'm off to Burger King. Anybody want anything? :)

I'd like a Whopper with Cheese, everything on it, chili cheese fries (extra cheese on those please) and a vanilla shake, or wait, if they still have the strawberry cheesecake flavored shake? That one...

Everything causes cancer, if you live long enough...

I was born with a "terminal" condition... life.

But, it sure beats the alternatives ;-)

cyberseaer,
You wouldn't be going by way of the Green Lantern would you now?

They make the best cholesterol trio ever :-)
