computer woes...

My computer was running so slow thought she was a goner, however I'm stubborn and I discovered I picked up a nasty spyware that I thought bogging things down. Thought I got rid of it all but the pc still seemed so slow trying to do anything was a waste of time. So I thought my internet days were numbered....Luckily I remembered the system event log in administrative tools and found the nasty little bugger was still lurking as a local32 and repeatedly reporting an error message when it couldn't connect which was the cause of the bogging down. So I found the trouble maker in the registry and delted it.

Okay I'm talking greek to some of you I know and some of you are going duh why didn't you look there sooner - lol

But I was proud of myself that I did not only find it but fix it and my pc is now back to her usual warp speed....the lesson? Never give up....
